Our 5th graders had an exciting field trip to the University of Wyoming in Laramie! Students toured the campus, learned about what life is like as a college student, and asked questions about the different programs and opportunities the university offers.
Students also visited the UW Planetarium, where they explored constellations, star patterns, and how shadows are formed during eclipses. This experience connected directly to the science standards students studied in Quarter 1, helping them see real-world examples of what they’ve been learning in class. It was a fun day that gave students a glimpse into both their academic future and the wonders of our universe!
