Teaching Today, Leading Tomorrow - Glendo Schools

Three times a year the Glendo PE department does physical fitness testing. These specific tests are done to test the five components of physical fitness: Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Flexibility and Agility. The results are not intended to be a competition between students but a competition with oneself. They also are not used as an assessment but rather an incentive for each student to improve in the areas tested from the start of the year to the end of the school year. Activities done throughout the year are geared to help each student improve on their times and distances.
