🌟 Kindergarten Community Day Field Trip 🌟
Our kindergarten students had an incredible day exploring what it means to learn, lead, and grow together in our community!
Students rotated through hands-on stations with some of our amazing local partners:
🚓 Wyoming Highway Patrol – learning about highway safety
🚒 Wheatland Fire Department – exploring fire safety and climbing aboard a fire truck
📚 Platte County Public Library – enjoying read-aloud & crafts that sparked imagination and curiosity
🐾 UW Platte County Extension (Youth Development) – identifying animal tracks and exploring Wyoming wildlife
🥜 UW Platte County Extension (Cent$ible Nutrition) – learning about nutrition and creating their own healthy trail mix
These activities were more than just fun—they helped our students connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, practice leadership skills, and see how community members work together to keep us safe, healthy, and informed.
Thank you to our community partners for investing in our youngest learners. You are showing them firsthand how leadership and service make our community stronger! 💙💛
