Libbey Field Trip to Wilhelm Farms

Libbey CK and Kindergarten students recently went to Wilhelm Farms to supplement their learning about Farm Work from their recent Geodes book. The students read about how farmers use many types of equipment to complete their jobs, which include, a combine, grain cart, baler, planter, and much more. Students were able to explore these different pieces of equipment while visiting Wilhelm Farms and they also got to plant their own bean seed (grown by the Wilhelm’s) to take home! This was a great hands-on experience for the kids and we hope to do it again next year!
