Libbey second graders from Ms. Jeffries class participated in the annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive with Scholastic Book Club. They talked about what the holiday season truly means and thought of different ways that they can give back to their community and help those in need.  Ms. Jeffries shared the Pajama Drive story with her students and they instantly knew they wanted to try to donate as many pajamas as possible to help others. Pajamas started coming to school the very next day. This is the biggest donation her class has ever given, with a total of 29 pajamas! For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic also gives a matching donation of one book per pair with the goal of helping to give children a warmer night’s sleep. Ms. Jeffries is so proud of every one of her kids and their kind hearts, especially during the holiday season.
