Teaching Today, Leading Tomorrow - Peak High School

Celebrating 100 Classes and Community Connections
Peak High School will soon reach the milestone of having an impressive 100 classes completed so far this year. Currently 96 classes have been finished, which is significantly greater than previous years. Students have shown excellent work ethic and perseverance toward completing weekly goals. Twenty-one Peak High School students have completed 81 classes so far and 9 Wheatland High School students have accomplished 15 credit recovery classes.
To celebrate this accomplishment, students and staff are launching a new effort “Celebrating 100 with 100 Community Connections” to strengthen ties between Peak High School and the broader community. The goal is to help students build connections with the people, businesses, and opportunities here in Platte County.
As part of this initiative, the school would like to partner with the community by bringing students to businesses. Seeing workplaces first hand allows students to better understand local careers, explore potential job opportunities, and learn how supporting local businesses supports our entire community. These personal connections can also help students by building confidence and a sense of community for now and in the future.
If you would be interested in partnering with Peak High School and having students visit your place of business, please contact the school at (307) 322-2075.
