Teaching Today, Leading Tomorrow - Peak High School

December 17 - Peak High School
Peak High School students have been very busy this past month!
They’ve been partnering with Libbey students building robot projects. We did the Balloons Over Broadway project with Mrs. Goertz’s kindergarten class. The PHS students and the kindergartens made their balloon floats, practiced using the robots and put on a parade.
PHS students traveled to Laramie and learned about career opportunities in the culinary field at The Sugar Mouse Cupcake House. Ruth Williams, the owner, started making cupcakes at the farmers market in Laramie for funds to help child survivors of sex trafficking. It turned into this restaurant. While in Laramie, students also visited the WyoTech campus to explore the programs they offer.
Finally, Kara and Fallon from Rolling Hills Bank stopped by to work with students on budgeting and thinking about how to save and prepare for the future.
