On Tuesday, October 2nd, Wheatland High School is hosting Platte and Goshen Counties for the Freshman Impact program from 8am- 3:10pm. Freshman Impact is a one-day alcohol and drug prevention program. Students will have the opportunity through hands on activities, demonstrations and presentations to gain accurate information and develop skills in dealing with negative peer pressure, bullying and other teenage issues.

During this event, the Oak St. and 13th St. intersection will be closed as well as 13th and Mason St. and 13th and Elliott St. The parking lot north of the Administration Building will also be closed. There will be no through traffic during this day. 14th St. and Rowley St. are the best ways to get around the road block. We are asking WHS students to park in the parking lot South of WHS and along 12th St. next to the school. Libbey families should drop students off on the Cedar St. side of Libbey or 14th St.
See you soon!
