WHS Students Celebrate UW Signing Day

On Wednesday, May 2nd, 16 students from Wheatland High School signed their letter of intent to attend the University of Wyoming.  The 16 WHS students are: Hannah Nelson, John Sarad, Christian Moody, Roman Smith, Jamison Brown, Ryan Pollock, Zac Gunter, Jon Ferguson, Emily Wright, Chase Nickle, Reid Putnam, Sara Horsley, Wendy Luna Garcia, Jason Hobbs, Chandler Bohnen, and Joey Madsen.  The WHS student body, friends, family, and community members attended the assembly.  Mr. Steve Shockley, Platte County Commissioner Chairman, was on hand to announce the students.  A big shout out to the Platte County Extension office staff for organizing their signing day!
