Brahma Industrial Services Incorporated (BISI) donated $80,000 worth of equipment to the Wheatland High School welding program. BISI is one of the contractors at the Laramie River Station.  This donation was made possible by the partnership created between the Laramie River Station (Team Longevity) and Wheatland High School by the creation of the Power Plant course offered this year.

Career and technical education classes are excellent options for students to learn and engage in valuable career skills while still learning core curriculum in a hands on application. Wheatland High School is very grateful for the donation, as it will significantly enhance the students’ experience and success in the classroom. Over 75 students participate in the welding program at the Wheatland High School.

Supplies included: four rolls of wire, four Miller XMT 350s, six bank welders, eight metal try squares, multiple boxes of grinding wheels, six 50ft welding leads, seven welding helmets, multiple pairs of welding gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, and a box of face shield plastics.
